I met Nick in Miami in 2015, my daughters and Karolina were at the same school and we were two English guys in Miami, we were living the dream! We used to meet up for a drink (or two) most weeks and we hit all the new bars and hotels in Miami. Our favourite places were 27, The Edition, the Standard, the Anderson and Faena Hotel. Sometimes all in the same night! David and Tom were at many of these nights also. The banter was top notch and it was just so much fun and laughing all night. Nick used to love an Old Fashioned, that was his go-to cocktail. I remember how he always managed to negotiate with the barman to get them onto the happy hour menu and it always worked! Some of my best memories from Miami are from that time. Fun in the sun! 
I also remember a great day out in London. I was living back in London for a couple of years and Nick was back in town. Prob was 2016. We met up on Fulham Road to watch some football. I think it was the World cup. I remember walking down the street and Nick meeting so many of his friends just walking down the street. He knew everyone in Chelsea it seemed and everyone just seemed so happy to see him and left with a smile. He took me to his favorite little restaurant for lunch and they all knew him there too. I think there was more football in the afternoon that ended up at Brinkley’s. Of course Nick knew EVERYONE there! We had a such a great time. It was a perfect London summer day with a great friend.

Nick was such a lovely, lovely guy. I will always remember those great times. It’s how I’ll remember him. I’m really going to miss him so much. He was like a brother xx
