I met Nick in 1997 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was at my first job interview, when he entered and interrupted us to ask his manager something about Financial Derivative Instruments. I was 23 year old and he looked brilliant asking those complex questions. I got the job and worked closely with him for a year. It was a wonderful time... Nick, Fernando and I worked closely together, and I have so many happy memories from then. Nick had a very refined sense of humor, and truly enjoyed the different aspects of life (work, the city, a good meal, the sunshine).

In 1998 he returned to London, where he had a very successful career at different banks. We stayed in touch all those years, and we had the fortune to live in the same city (Miami) for some time. Here I met his two lovely children.

I will cherish all the wonderful memories of Nick and will remember him forever.

Rest in peace my friend, you will be deeply missed by all of us.
